SANUR SUNRISE
Sanur was sold to me by one of my friends that had recently returned from Bali, (whilst we were deciding on the different areas we would like to visit this year for our adventure) she boasted how amazing it is.
She gave me one of those wrist grabbing, eye to eye looks and in a discerning voice declared "YOU MUST STAY IN SANUR!!!!"
Alright! Alright! Just let go of me!
She said "You're gonna love it! It's got beautiful beach front restaurants, small market stalls, white sandy beaches, the BEST coffee in Bali...but there's no crowds!!"
Not convinced (I don't know why because I should've known by the tone in her voice and the twinkle in her eye it was going to be great) we decided to stay here for a few nights before we headed out to the islands...
And once we arrived at this salty paradise...
I wish we had booked to stay here longer!
She was right. It IS quiet. The complete opposite to the hub of Seminyak...but after we left the busy city life after a week of flying around Seminyak and it's surrounds, it was an absolute pleasure to find refuge in this beautiful and understated coastal town!
